Tasman wine tours
From cliff-top views and river terraces to bush-clad hillsides and boutique cellar doors, the Tasman wine trail has plenty to enjoy. We provide private tour transport so your group can relax, taste, dine and take in the scenery.
Popular stops can include Seifried Estate, Kina Cliffs, Riwaka River Estate, Moutere Hills Vineyard, Neudorf, Forsters Restaurant, Gravity, The Smoking Barrel, Toad Hall and other favourites by arrangement.
Tasman wine tour rate
- $250 per hour including GST for 1-6 people
- Minimum 6 hours applies
- Payable in advance
- Tastings, lunch and purchases are not included
- Please allow at least 4 days notice where possible, as some wineries are not open 7 days
Tours usually start around 10.30am or 10.45am, as most wineries open from 11.00am.
Taste of Marlborough Tour
A full-day food and wine experience through Marlborough, with pick-up from Motueka or Nelson.
Indicative itinerary:
- Pick up from Motueka around 8.00am or Nelson around 9.00am
- Makana Confections Chocolate Factory
- Hunter Wines cellar door
- Lunch at Harvest Restaurant
- Isobel Olive Estate
- Cranky Goat cheese shop
- Coffee, tea or cold drink stop at The Vines Village Cafe
- Return via Nelson and Motueka
Approximate tour time is 10 hours. Guide rate: $1600 for 1-10 passengers. Lunch, tastings and purchases are not included.
Tour expectations
- No eating in the van.
- No alcohol may be consumed in the van.
- Rudeness, foul language, harassment, intoxication or aggressive behaviour may end the tour immediately.
- The standard rate is based on one pick-up location, the tour, one lunch stop and return to the same location.
- Changes to the final destination may incur extra mileage or time fees.
